MAYO SPCA issues appeal over care of pets during cold snap

MAYO SPCA has issued an appeal after receiving complaints of pets being left outside during the cold weather snap..

It has called for pets to be kept in a warm place, protected from the freezing conditions.

The organisation said it was issuing the appeal as a result of concerns raised by members of the public who witnessed cases where this is not happening .
