Ring is not travelling to US for St. Patrick's Day

MINISTER Michael Ring has issued a statement of clarification regarding his travel plans for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

He has confirmed that he will not be travelling to Boston as part of the St. Patrick’s Day overseas programme.

Minister Michael Ring stated: “Contrary to media reports, I will not be travelling to Boston for the St. Patrick’s overseas programme.

“I wish to clarify that I was not travelling in the first instance. My name was in media publications as one of the ministers travelling but this was incorrect. I am not travelling to Boston.

“I wish to clarify this matter on public record.”
