CASTLEBAR-based cloud services company, CloudStrong, have been selected as Microsoft Ireland ‘Hosting Partner of The Year’ for 2015 at the prestigious Microsoft Worldwide Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Commenting on the award, Oliver Surdival, CEO of CloudStrong said: 'It’s a great win for our team and it’s recognition for all the hard work they have put in over the last few years. It’s also a big win for the region and it goes to prove that Mayo is a great location to develop and grow an international business.'

The award comes on the back of the exciting news that CloudStrong have been selected into the elite Microsoft Cloud OS Network. It now places CloudStrong among a select world-wide group that have been recognised for their competencies in using Microsoft’s cloud solutions.

Mr. Surdival added: 'This is the one I wanted. The team and our cloud systems have gone through rigorous testing and validation by Microsoft to ensure CloudStrong meet the highest standards of delivering cloud solutions. This Microsoft Cloud OS award normally takes six months to complete but our team were so well prepared we achieved this in just two'.
