First glamorous style awards event in mayo
Friday’s inaugural Mayo Style Awards is the culmination of both months of behind the scenes work as well as two months of public nominations and voting. The awards are organised by the Connaught Telegraph in conjunction with anchor sponsors Specsavers, venue hosts Breaffy House Resort and associate sponsors. It is the very first style awards event of this scale to be run in Mayo.
These awards aim to recognise and reward the best in fashion, beauty & lifestyle related businesses in Mayo. They provide an excellent opportunity for local Mayo businesses to showcase their products & services to their target audience. It also showcases all of the involved sponsors as prime movers in business in the County.
The event promises to be one of the biggest post summer events to take place in the county. The category sponsors for this showcase event are Specsavers, Breaffy House Resort, Caseys Centra, Gilvarry Solicitors, Turlough Hair & Beauty, Foxford Woollen Mills, Stauntons Pharmacys, Motivation Weight Management, Costa Business Systems, Shaws Department Store and Castlebar Credit Union.
A huge congratulations to our 30 finalists in our 10 categories: Fashion Boutique, Accessories, Beauty Salon/ Spa, Hair Salon, Interiors, New Business, Bridal, Social Media, Men’s Fashion & Grooming and Health & Fitness. Within this supplement our 30 finalists are profiled. Each of the finalists will be awarded on the night-Friday 18th September in the Breaffy House Resort-with the winner of each category being announced.
Businesses entered themselves or were nominated into categories and from an independent judging panel, the finalists were determined. If you are interested in our awards but missed entering your business this year please do so next year. We’re delighted that our awards received a huge level of entries which signalled to us the great interest in it from the public and we thank you for that.
The awards night will be a glamorous event with champagne on arrival, a fantastic four course meal and music afterwards. There will also be a Best Dressed competition with the winner receiving a prize from Egan Jewellers. Tickets for priced at €50 and can be purchased from the Breaffy House Resort.
