Danny O'Brien and Ger Staunton

Castlebar's king of comedy is coming home

CASTLEBAR'S own Ger Staunton is coming back home for a night of comedy.

Staunton will be joined by Danny O'Brien for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy in the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Thursday, May 19, with the fun kicking off at 8 p.m.

Award-winning Danny O’Brien is the resident host of The Comedy Crunch in Dublin, Ireland’s busiest and most successful comedy club.

Following in the footsteps of Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran and Dara Ó Briain, Danny was hand-picked to perform as part of this year’s Best of the Edinburgh Fest show and has just returned from touring Perth World Fringe, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Since arriving on the Irish comedy scene in 2013, Ger Staunton rapidly became a regular headline act on the circuit and has already been described by the International Comedy Club as 'one of the best comedy writers in Ireland'.

Put the two rising starts of comedy together and you have an evening of laughter on the cards. Sit back and enjoy!

Booking for this eagerly awaited show is advised on (094) 9023733 or online at www.thelinenhall.com.
