A MAYO beauty salon won a major accolade when it was announced a winner at the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2017.

Beauty By Lynda, in Kiltimagh, was announced as the winner of Beauty Salon of the Year for the west region.

The glamorous awards ceremony took place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin earlier this month.

The Irish Hair and Beauty Awards showcase the very best salons, stylists, beauty therapists and technicians in the country.

Beauty By Lynda, which is based on James Street in Kiltimagh, specialises in a huge array of beauty treatments and in just 17 months has quickly built up a reputation for excellence and high customer service.
