Vintage Morris Minor stolen

A FACEBOOK appeal has begun to reunite the owner of a vintage Morris Minor with his vehicle, which was stolen last night.

McDonald's Garage on Spencer Street, Castlebar, was broken and a 1952 light green Morris Minor, which the owner has had for many years, and which he restored, was stolen.

The registration number is ZM 1662. The car has a split windscreen.

In a post Elizabeth Toole pointed out that the reg plates will probably be removed and the colour could be changed. If anyone notices any split windscreen Morris Minor in good condition for sale of any colour, please get in touch with her via Facebook.

The owner is very proud of the car, which he restored a number of years ago, and he is very anxious for its immediate return.
