Mayo Style Awards Launch and Entries Open!

The launch of The Connaught Telegraph's fourth annual Mayo Style Awards took place at Breaffy House Resort on Friday last amidst glorious summer sunshine.

The awards, organised in conjunction with anchor sponsors Specsavers, venue hosts Breaffy House and associate sponsors, is the only style awards event of this scale in the west of Ireland.

"These awards aim to recognise and reward the best in fashion related business and lifestyle in Mayo and provide an excellent opportunity to showcase business in this area as the best in Mayo in a specific category," explained Bernard Hughes, sales manager, The Connaught Telegraph. "Importantly, it showcases all of the involved sponsors as prime movers in business in the county." 

The gala event takes place at Breaffy House Hotel on Friday, September 7, and it promises to be an occasion to remember. Category sponsors for this showcase event are Stauntons Pharmacies, Balla Florists, Mayo Dental, Yvonne Kilcullen Events, All In Design & Print and Breaffy House.Anchor sponsors Specsavers also sponsor a category while Egan Jewellers, Castlebar, sponsor the best dressed lady at the awards night.

The categories - Best Boutique, Best Accessories, Best Beauty Salon/Spa, Best Hairdresser, Best in Interiors, Best New Business, Best in Bridal, Best in Social Media, Best in Men's Fashion and Grooming and Best in Health & Fitness - are now open for nominations.
Out of the 10 listed categories, businesses can enter themselves into any two categories.
