Passing of widely respected Hollymount woman

THE death has taken place of Delia Duffy (née Maloney), Brownstown, Hollymount.

Predeceased by her husband John, she was held in very high regard in the community at large.

She is survived by her daughters Josie O’Haire (Cregduff), Bridie McIntyre (Ballyglass), Kathleen Vahy (Belcarra). Nell Keane (Cloonfad), Ann Curran (Headford), Teresa Burke (Ballinrobe), Bernie Boyle and Martina Garvey (Brownstown), sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Maureen Maloney, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

Her remains will be reposing at Fr. Paddy’s house, Robeen, this evening (Thursday) from 5 to 7.30 p.m.

Removal from her residence takes place on Friday morning to Our Lady Of Sorrow Church, Robeen, for Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to Robeen Cemetery.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
