Mayo brothers win big again at Irish Blog Awards

BELMULLET brothers John, Derek, Tony and Mark Reilly are celebrating yet again after their technology and gaming website, www.theeffect.net, was awarded 'Best Digital & Technology Blog' in Ireland for the second year running at the Blog Awards Ireland in Dublin.

The site, originally founded in 2013, was also awarded Bronze in the 'Best Gaming Blog' category, matching the website's double winnings from last year's event.

John, Tony and Derek, who all live in Dublin and Mark, who's currently living in Vancouver, have been covering the latest tech announcements and news for over five years and are delighted with the awards and recognition their website has achieved to date.

John is also an on-going contributor on Newstalk's weekly 'Tech Talk' show with Jess Kelly which is available on podcast and on Newstalk FM every Sunday evening.
