Mayo gardaì issue alert to motorists

GARDAÌ in Mayo have issued an alert to motorists over road surface conditions.

It follows traffic accidents on the Foxford to Ballyvary and Balla to Claremorris routes yesterday.

The heavy rains of recent days have made many road surfaces greasy and motorists are urged to drive with extra caution.
