Streamline Consulting is run by Lisa Clarken. Born, reared and living in Westport, she is the eldest grandchild of May Corcoran of The Castlecourt Hotel.

"I am an ACCA qualified accountant and worked internationally with PWC and JP Morgan. I have spent over 15 years in industry here in Ireland with a wide range of companies, including start-ups, management companies, construction and developers, hoteliers, manufacturing and property companies.

"In each role I have continuously sought ways to improve efficiencies, improve processes, standardise procedures and implement new IT functions," said Lisa.

 

Savings

Implementation of e-invoicing and e-statements in the manufacturing company led to improving efficiencies and improved customer service. Previously, month end took at least three hours with almost 200 statements - printing the statements, folding and placing in envelopes, stamping the envelopes and bringing them to the post box. Now, statements are sent with the click of a button to all the customers. The statements are received by the customer on the last day of the month. Debt collection is faster as no statements can be missing in the post and also received a few days earlier. The statements can be easily searched for within the emails as opposed to searching for a hard copy. This is saving the company €2,400 annually in postage alone, not to mention the savings in stationery and manpower which is at least one full week’s wages per year.
