Excitement building in Mayo over Santa's imminent arrival

EXCITEMENT is building in households throughout Mayo over the imminent arrival of Santa tonight.

He is expected to make his landing in Ireland shortly after midnight and reports suggest he is delighted with how good so many young boys and girls have been this year.

After setting out from the North Pole later, his early stops include New Zealand and Australia.
