Charlestown's Main Street closed after incident
THE Main Street in Charlestown is closed this morning following an incident.
A lorry carrying a heavy load struck an ESB pole at the location.
The area has been closed off for health and safety reasons while remedial works are being carried out.
The gardaì are at the scene and traffic diversions are in place.
It is expected to be a number of hours before the street reopens.
