Cillian O'Connor on course for his Mayo return

CILLIAN O'Connor is on course for a return to the Mayo senior football squad for the Allianz National League clash against Kerry in Tralee on March 16.

RTÈ Sport is reporting this morning that such is his successful recovery from knee surgery that he may be fit for competitive action in 11 days time.

However RTÈ Sport confirmed that Seamus O'Shea will miss the remaining two games in the campaign due to an ankle injury sustained in training.

There are also injury concerns relating to Ger Cafferkey, Patrick Durcan, Evan Regan and Ciaràn Treacy.
