The victorious St. Gerald's College Under-17 soccer squad

Three regional titles in four days for Mayo college

St. Gerald's College in Castlebar has captured three regional titles in the space of three days.

Earlier today, the college's Under-17 team was crowned Connacht 'A' Soccer Champions on a scoreline of 3-2 against St. Louis Community School, Kiltimagh.

The All-Ireland semi-final is due to take place next Tuesday, March 12, in Sligo.

It follows the success of the college's Under-14 in winning the Connacht B competition on Tuesday. The team now advance to the All-Ireland final.

The team included Al Mahi Tanzeen, Al Maher Gazi, Seyham Hague and John Gleeson.

The Under-14 B team came second. Keelan Rabbitte, Kevin Speechaert, Lee Hennigan, Gavin Fiery and Kian Flanagan were members of this team.

The Under-16 B team, which included Dillon Fernandez, James Garavan, Inan Mannan, and Michael Gilvary, also came second.

The college's senior Irish debating team won the regional finals in Carrick on Shannon on Wednesday. They are now through to the All-Ireland final on March 27.

The team is composed of Cillian Loftus, Dónall Joyce and Oisín Browne.

Menawhile, the college face St. Colman's College, Newry, in the Junior 'A' All-Ireland semi-final tomorrow, Saturday, in Clonguish GAA Club, Co. Longford, at 2 p.m.
