THE following Mayo death and funeral notices have been announced.

May the gentle souls of the deceased rest in peace. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved families.

Evelyn Cooper, Westport and Castlebar

THE death has taken place at Mayo University Hospital, following a short illness, of Evelyn Cooper (née O'Boyle), Doon, Westport and late of Boradruma, Castlebar.

She is deeply mourned by her husband John, sons Steven and Shaun, daughters Jacqui and Karen, brother Frank, sisters Maureen, Margaret, Nancy, Kathleen, Josephine and Bernie, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at St. Aiden's Room, Islandeady, Castlebar, on Thursday evening from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the St. Patrick's Church, Islandeady.

Funeral Mass takes place on Friday morning at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Islandeady Cemetery.

 

Michael Brennan, Ballyhaunis

Brennan Michael, Aghlora, Ballyhaunis.

Predeceased by his son Michael, brother Martin and sister Mary, he is deeply regretted by his wife Mary, sons Joseph, Martin, Adrian, Eugene, Ian and Damien, daughters-in-law Michelle and Selma and grandchildren.

Reposing in the family home in Aghlora on Friday from 4 until 7pm. House private please at all other times.

Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Logboy, on Saturday, at 1 p.m. followed by burial in Tulrahan Cemetery.

Eamon Scahill, 23 Kennedy Gardens, Castlebar, and Liverpool.

He is very deeply regretted by his brothers Tom and Liam, sister Maura, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Linenhall Street, Castlebar, on Thursday evening from 6.30 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 1 p.m. with burial afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

 

Winnie McDonagh, Ballyhaunis

The death has occurred of Winnie McDonagh. Dublin, and formerly of Ballyhaunis.

Reposing at Donnellan's Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis, on Thursday evening from 4 p.m. with removal at 6 p.m. to St Patrick's Church, Ballyhaunis.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
