West Mayo community mourns passing of popular personality

THE death has occurred of Bridie O'Haire (née Cawley), Fahy Beg, Newport, and late of Massbrook, Bofeenaun.

A much-loved personality in the community, news of her passing is widely mourned.

She is survived by her husband Sean, sons Michael and Paul, Fahy Beg, daughters Maureen Keane, Toorgarve, Margo Keane, Toorgarve, Bernie Walsh, Toorgarve, Breege Birrane, Craobh Bán, Newport, Sinead Joyce, Knocknabola, sons-in-law, daughters in law, 18 grandchildren, one great grandchild, sisters Eileen Lynch, Tyrone, and Celia Mangan, Croydon, brothers-in law, sister-in-law, nephews and nieces, cousins, relatives and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

Her remains will be reposing at Fahy Community Centre on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

Requiem Mass takes place at 12 noon on Friday at Fahy Church followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
