Mayo salon wins at Irish Makeup Awards

A MAYO salon has been honoured at the Irish Makeup Awards.

Castlebar-based Lash & Brow Emporium picked up the Lash Extensions Specialist of the Year West region award.

The salon was really punching above its weight at the awards, held in the Crowne Plaza, in Dublin, beating off stiff competition from larger salons in Galway, Limerick and Sligo cities.

For the self-built business in the heart of Castlebar town, it was an extra honour as they were the only business in Mayo to take home an award.

Jennie McDonald Brett was on hand to accept the award – well deserved recognition for a great local business.

The winners are chosen by members of the public and are a reflection of talent, creativity and impeccable customer service - three key features that enhance the reputation of the Irish make-up industry nationally and internationally.
