Three Mayo students win DCU sports scholarships
Three Mayo students have been presented with Sports Scholarships by Dublin City University in recognition of their sporting excellence.
•Jonathan Doherty is a former pupil of St. Muredachs College, Ballina, and final year student in Athletic Therapy & Training at DCU. Jonathan was presented with the DCU Sports Scholarship in recognition of his contribution to golf at the University by the President of DCU, Professor Brian MacCraith.
•Mairead Hopkins is a former pupil of St Mary's Ballina, and second year student in Intellectual Disability Nursing at DCU. Mairead was presented with the DCU Sports Scholarship in recognition of her contribution to rugby at the University by the President of DCU, Professor Brian MacCraith.
•Niamh Kilgallen from Claremorris and first year student in Engineering at DCU. Niamh was presented with the DCU Sports Scholarship in recognition of her contribution to swimming at the University by the President of DCU, Professor Brian MacCraith.
