Death of former Mayo garda officer

THE death has taken place of Denis Teahan, Teahan's Bar, Cromane, Killorglin, Co. Kerry.

The deceased was a retired member of An Garda Síochána and served in Ballyglass, Claremorris, for a number of years.

Predeceased by his son Denis, he is sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons and daughters Denise, Dermot, Kenneth, Gerard and Angela.

He is also deeply regretted by his sister Mary, sons-in-law Austin and Brian, daughters-in-law MaryAnne, Mary and Niamh, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.

His remains will be reposing Tuesday evening at Flynn's Funeral Home, Killorglin from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral arrives on Wednesday morning to The Star of the Sea Church, Cromane. for Requiem Mass at 10.30 a.m.

Burial takes place afterwards in Reilig Réalt na Mara, Cromane.
