Nora Tiernan, Louisburgh

Nora Tiernan (née Prendergast), Doughmakeon, Louisburgh, and Inishturk Island.

Predeceased by her husband Johnny, she is deeply mourned by her daughters Mary Gallagher (Killybegs) and Geraldine Moran (Westport), sons Michael (Carrowniskey), Padraig (Doughmakeon), John (Castlebar), Tim (Ruan, Clare) and James (Doughmakeon), step-sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a large circle of friends.

Nora will lie in repose at her home until 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

Reposing at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh, on Tuesday from 6 p.m., with removal at 8:00pm walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Killeen Cemetery.

 

Sean Goodman, Ballina

Sean (John) Goodman, Avondale Court, Ballina, and formerly of Poole, Dorset, U.K.

Predeceased by his parents Lena and Edwin and deceased members of the Jordan family, he is deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Mary, son Mark and Lorraine, daughters Laura and David, Julie and Mark, brother Danny, grandchildren Cian, Ava, Sophie and Abbie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Sean will repose at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, this evening (Monday) evening from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Muredach's Cathedral.

Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery. 

 

Mary Hession, Hollymount

Mary Hession (née Kennedy), Carras, Hollymount.

Wife of the late Johnny, she will be sadly missed by her sons James and Michael, daughters Gretta (Broderick) and Majella (Broderick), sons-in-law Martin and Pat, daughters-in-law Brenda and Mary and grandchildren, her sister Noreen Rushe, brother Michael Kennedy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Roundfort Community Funeral Home (F12VK57) this evening (Monday) from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Joseph’s Church, Carras, Hollymount.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery.

 

Willam Hunt, Kilkelly

William (Bill) Hunt, Derrynalecka, Kilkelly.

In his 101st year, he is deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, sons William and Michael, daughters Josephine and Eileen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at the Marian Funeral Home, Knock, this evening (Monday) from 6 o'clock with removal at 8 o'clock to St. Celsus' Church, Kilkelly, arriving at 8.30 o'clock (approx).

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 o'clock with burial afterwards in Culmore Cemetery.

 

Michael Joseph Kenny, Kilkelly

Michael Joseph Kenny, London and formerly of Kilkelly.

He is sadly missed by his wife Matilde (née Socha), daughter Elizabeth, son Kyle, sisters Carmel, Florrie and Helen, brothers Sam, Paul and Tim, nephews, nieces, the Socha family in Colombia, his neighbours and friends.

Removal to St Celsus’ Church, Kilkelly, on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Culmore Cemetery.

 

Rita McHugh, Hollymount

Rita McHugh (née Hamrogue), Pollaturick, Milltown, Co. Galway, and formerly of Purranes, Hollymount.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy and infant daughters Sharon and Nicola.

Dearly beloved mother of Kathy, Breege, Thomas, Michael and Anne.

Deeply regretted by her loving family and their partners, Ken, Tommy and Ian, daughter-in-law Breda, grandchildren Cián, Elana and Louis, sister Sal Durcan (Ballinrobe), sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at Glynn's Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam, this Tuesday from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m. followed by removal to her home.

Funeral Mass Wednesday at 1.00 pm at St. Joseph's Church, Milltown, followed by burial in Kilgevrin Cemetery.
