Your 2019 Mayo Style Awards Category Finalists!
The Mayo Style Awards, organised by the Connaught Telegraph and ran in conjunction with the Breaffy House Resort, Specsavers, and associate sponsors, aim to honour local businesses in Mayo for their fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
Entries into the awards opened in September and we, the Connaught Telegraph, received a large volume of entries from top quality businesses. Businesses had the option of entering themselves, for free, into two out of our ten categories. Our independent judging panel had very tough decisions to make when shortlisting each category in order to pick their top three/four.
Each finalist has voting details for the public to vote & support them. The votes will help the judges decide who the winner of each category will be. The voting details can be found below. Voting starts today (Tuesday 15th October) and closes Tuesday 29th October at midnight. Each vote costs €1.52 with the profit made from the votes to be donated to Mayo Pink Ribbon. Please note that this year we have a call vote instead of a text vote. In order to vote for your favourite business you must find the number assigned to them and call it. The call will last no more than 30 seconds and your vote will count as soon as the call connects. Some networks may have premium numbers blocked which may prevent you from casting your vote. Each of the finalists will be awarded on the night - Friday 1st November in the Breaffy House Resort- with the winner of each category being announced on the night.
