Death of popular west Mayo personality

THE death of Grainne Collins (née O'Malley), Cornanool, Castlebar, and late of The Pub, Dooagh, Achill, is widely mourned.

A member of a popular and respected family, she was held in very high regard in the community at large.

Predeceased by her parents Sonny and Josie, sister Lourdie and brother Anthony, she is deeply regretted by her husband John, daughter Sandra (Courell), sons Tony, Johan and Ronan, son-in-law Rory, daughters-in-law Sharon, Sharon and Gillian, brothers-in-law John (Cafferkey), Peter (Collins), Billy (Collins) and Michael (Collins), sisters-in-law Nodie (McCarthy) and Anne (Farrell), grandchildren Zara, Zac, Sean, Sarah, Lauren, Josh, Adam, Jack and Tom, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Deepest sympathy is tendered to the bereaved family on their loss.

Requiem Mass takes place in St. Patrick's Church, Islandeady, tomorrow (Monday) at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
