Coca-Cola magical Christmas truck tour to stop in Mayo

COCA-Cola has revealed the dates for the 2019 magical Christmas truck tour to celebrate the beginning of the festive season.

Returning for its ninth year, the tour is set to kick off in Galway on November 30 and will be making stops across the country until it reaches Dublin on December 15.

Included in the stops is the Military Barracks, Tone Street, Ballina.

It will be there from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, and a big crowd is expected

The legendary Christmas truck has delighted thousands of visitors across the years and will make a total of seven stops across towns and cities in Ireland until December 15.

The stops are as follows:

Saturday, November 30 - Galway Retail Park - 2pm - 8pm

Sunday, December 1 - Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin - 2pm - 8pm

Wednesday, December 4 - Military Barracks, Ballina, Mayo - 2pm - 8pm

Saturday, December 7 - Belfast Custom House - 2pm - 8pm

Sunday, December 8 - Belfast Custom House - 2pm - 8pm

Friday, December 13 - Mahon Point, Cork - 2pm - 8pm

Saturday, December 14 - Waterford Winterval - 2pm - 8pm

Sunday, December 15 - Swords Pavilions, Dublin - 2pm - 8pm

Each truck tour stop will feature a glittering winter wonderland setting nestled amongst a festival of lights.

Visitors can enjoy a 150ml can of Coco-Cola upon arrival, choosing from the selection of zero sugar, diet or original.

All truck tour visitors will be able to purchase exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise at each stop.

People who stop by the truck can pick up a pack of 250ml glass bottles personalised with your name on it.

There will be exclusive photograph opportunities available to create magical memories.

There are three snap spots alongside the truck - the photo podium, the photo frame and the selfie bridge.

You can also take a photo in front of the truck.

Staff at the truck are also there to lend a helping hand if you need someone to take a picture of yourself or your family.

Unfortunately visitors are not permitted to enter the truck.

The cab of the vehicle is closed off from public access.
