Nicola Kingcombe

West Mayo community mourns passing of young mother

THE death has taken place at Mayo University Hospital, after a long illness, of Nicola Kingcombe (nèe Doherty), 11 Lakeshore Drive, Saleen, Castlebar, formerly of Annagh, Islandeady.

Aged 39, her passing has evoked an immense sense of loss and sorrow in the community.

She was dearly loved wife of Lee and adored mother of Poppy and Ivymay, loving daughter of Jim and Breege (nèe Tunney), loving sister of Sharon Collins (Cornanool, Castlebar), James (Victoria Place, Castlebar), Ronan (New York), Kieran (Chestnut Grove, Castlebar) and Leona (Dublin).

She will also be deeply missed by her father-in-law Chris and her mother-in-law Carole (Plymouth, UK), brothers-in-law Paul, Ryan and Johan, sisters -in-law Theresa and Edwina, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.  

Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.

Nicola will repose at St. Aidan's Room, adjoining St. Patrick's Church, Islandeady, on Tuesday from 5.30 to 8.00 p.m.

Requiem Mass takes place on Wednesday  in St. Patrick's Church, Islandeady at 11 a.m. followed by removal to Shannon Crematorium, arriving for service at 3 p.m.
