Details announced for Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Challenge 2020

DETAILS have been announced for the Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Challenge 2020.

It takes place from June 8 to 21 and the route is Inishowen to Kinsale.

All proceeds raised are in aid of Pieta House.

Castlebar man Johnny Oosten, one of the organisers, has invited people to join them for a few kilometres along the route. 

The 2,500 kms. route is as follows:

June 8th Inishowen Peninsula - Derry to Letterkenny

June 9th Fanad Head - Letterkenny to Dungloe

June 10th The Slieve League Coast - Dungloe via Killybegs to Donegal Town

June 11th Donegal Bay and Sligo - Donegal Town to Enniscrone

June 12th Erris - Enniscrone to Belmullet

June 13th Achill Island and Clew Bay - Belmullet to Westport

June 14th Killary Harbour - Westport to Clifden

June 15th Connemara - Clifden to Galway

June 16th The Burren and West Clare - Galway to Kilkee

June 17th The Shannon Estuary - Kilkee to Tralee

June 18th The Dingle Peninsula - Tralee to Castlemaine

June 19th Ring of Kerry - Castlemaine to Kenmare

June 20th Beara and Sheep’s Head - Kenmare to Durrus

June 21st West Cork - Durrus to Kinsale
