Snow and ice warning issued

MET Éireann has issued a status yellow snow/ice warning for the entire country.

Wintry showers, mainly of hail and sleet, will become increasingly widespread during Tuesday leading to icy patches.

Some snow accumulations will also occur.

The warning is valid from 6 a.m. Tuesday until 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
