Other Voices: David Gray Special on RTÉ 2 this evening

Episode six of Other Voices on RTÉ 2 this evening (11.30 p.m.) is a one-off special devoted entirely to David Gray’s intimate gig in Ballina.

Gray is widely regarded as one of Ireland's favourite musicians and his seminal album White Ladder, which is 20 years old this year, remains the biggest-selling album in Irish chart history.

Viewers can witness his distinctive blend of emotive songwriting and unique vocal stylings in the beautiful location of St. Michael’s Church, Ballina, from the comfort of their own living rooms.

Other Voices took up residence in Ballina over the weekend of February 28 and 29 last, with high-profile concerts in St. Michael's Church, a local music trail, interactive workshops and the Ireland's Edge conference.

This evening's episode of Other Voices on RTÉ is the second of three dedicated to the Ballina weekend. The March 12 episode featured Elbow as well as Denise Chaila, JC Stewart and Skinny Living.

The April 16 episode will showcase performances from Soda Blonde, The Howl and the Hum, JyellowL and Jesca Hoop.
