Petworld Castlebar reopening for essential pet buys
PETWORLD Castlebar is reopening next week.
Located in Horkan's Garden Centre, Turlough, the pet department is open from Monday next for essential pet purchases only.
The garden centre section of the business is closed to customers.
CEO John Horkan explained: “Starting Monday, April 13, Petworld Castlebar will be open seven days from 12 to 4 p.m. for your pet essentials only.
“As agreed within the recent government guidelines, all households are allowed to travel to the local dog food store to ensure their pets have the essentials that they need.
“The garden centre department will remain closed and purchase of non-essential pet items will not be permitted.”
He added: “As pet owners we understand the needs of keeping your family safe while looking after your pets. With over one million pets in Ireland and over 450,000 dogs, we believe Petworld has an important role to play in keeping pet food and supplies available in an environment that is safe for our staff and for our customers. We are here to serve the needs of our customers.'
“We want to make access to your pet supplies as easy and as safe as possible for you.”
Steps have been taken to provide a safe retail environment for customers and staff:
The store has provided hand sanitising stations at entrances and they ask that only one family member comes into the shop at a time to minimise social contact (no children at this time).
