Passing of member of east Mayo business family

THE death has occurred of Angela Campbell (née Fleming), Chapel Street, Swinford.

Along with her late husband Micéal, Angela was involved in the family business for many years, operating the White House pub and adjoining undertakers business.

Angela was a warm and welcoming lady, and full of kindness, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and called her a friend.

A native of the town, she was a member of the parish church choir for many years.

Angela is deeply regretted by her loving family Patricia Bourke, Francie McNicholas, Angela Grimley (Roscahill, Westport), Shane, Michelle Howie, Declan (Clonbur, Co. Galway), Siobhán (Ballinrobe), Micéal (Aughrim, Co. Wicklow) and Enda, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, extended family circle and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

Her funeral Mass will take place in the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford, at 12 noon on Saturday, April 18, prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery.

A memorial Mass will take place at a later date.
