Smart new signs welcome visitors to Knock

WHEN Knock village and shrine reopen fully, visitors will be greeted by some smart new street signage.

Knock Community Futures have posted photos online of the newly erected approach road signs, which present a bright and inviting welcome to people entering the village.

Community Futures expressed delight with the new signage, which was erected by Mayo County Council this week.

They extended thanks to local councillors Richard Finn and John Cribbin who contributed half the cost.

The posts and frames were made in Knock by Flatley Engineering, Cloonmore, and the panels were printed by Aarow Signs in Hollymount, and designed by Sinead Mallee.
