Mayo frontline worker reports good news on the double

The Mayo University Hospital frontline worker who had her bicycle stolen last Thursday has thanked everyone on social media who helped her.

Castlebar-based Claire Walsh elaborated: "Because of all your help and the hard work of An Garda Siochana in Castlebar, my bike has been found and returned to its rightful owner, my brother, who had been letting me use it to get to work.

"Not only this, but Westport Bike Shop Ltd. have gifted me my own bike.

"Thank you so much to Loraine Mulchrone and Anthony Murray for their kindness and generosity.

"I never expected this response, it just shows the sense of community in these challenging times."
