Fire services attend scene of Balla fire

The fire services have attended the scene of a blaze on lands in Balla.

Members of the local fire-fighting unit arrived the scene after the alarm was raised.

It took them some time to bring the flames under control as it spread swiftly in the dry conditions.

A Status Red fire warning is currently in place due to warm and dry weather conditions.
