Funeral of boy who lost his life in Lough Mask tragedy

THE funeral arrangements have been announced for the five-year-old boy who lost his life in a drowning tragedy at Lough Mask last Tuesday.

The funeral of Ben Duffy, Treen, Tourmakeady, will leave the residence of his grandparents in Sraheen tomorrow (Friday) morning at 11 o’clock to arrive at Tourmakeady Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Burial takes place afterwards in Aughagower Cemetery.

The funeral cortege will travel via Trianlar, Srah and Killawalla en route to Aughagower Cemetery.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Alan and Tracey, brothers Matthew, Daniel and Dolan, sister Darcey, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom heartfelt sympathy is tendered.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

In accordance with HSE and government guidelines, Ben’s Mass will be for family only.
