Ladbrokes plan Castlebar office move

LADBROKES in Castlebar is proposing a move to new premises in the town.

A planning application has been submitted by the company for a change of use of a property on Ellison Street, which would facilitate a move from their Castle Street base.

Their proposed new location is beside the Irish House on Ellison Street.

Documentation submitted to council planners explains that their existing Castle Street premises is no longer suitable for use as a licensed betting office.

On receiving planning permission, it is proposed to de-license the existing premises and to apply for the transfer of the licence prior to the establishment and operation of the new outlet.
