New synthetic playing court for west Mayo school

Works will be proceeding at Mulranny NS to install a new playing court, Mayo TD Alan Dillon has confirmed.

The works will consist of constructing a new synthetic playing court along with associated works to include new fencing and floodlighting.

Deputy Dillon said: “This is the third project approved for Mayo since the start of June following the approval for an extension to St Oliver Plunkett NS in Ballina and Ballintubber NS.

“I will be prioritising more of these shovel-ready projects with government colleagues, as they are key to providing local economic growth around Mayo.

“With the government working on the Stimulus Plan, we need to encourage job creation with more of these projects based in local communities all over Mayo.”
