Mayo hospital's 76th day without a confirmed Covid case

Mayo University Hospital has reached day 76 without a confirmed Covid-19 case in the facility.

That's according to information recorded by the HSE at the centre at 8 p.m. last night.

The last confirmed case at the centre was recorded on June 9.

Since June 9, the number of confirmed case in Mayo increased by 17 from 570 to 587 but none of those cases required treatment at the Castlebar facility.

Nationally, there are 28 confirmed cases being treated in Irish hospitals today and 90 suspected cases.

There are two vacant general beds in MUH today, a drop of one in 24 hours, and two vacant critical care beds, no change.
