Mayo 'Celebrity Come Dine with Me' series in aid of Western Care launched

Leading Mayo hotel - Breaffy House Resort in Castlebar - will host a series of dining experience evenings where locally known guest chefs will prepare a fine dining evening with their personalised menus, to help raise funds for Western Care.

The event, sponsored by The Connaught Telegraph and Midwest Radio, starts on Thursday September 24, and will run each Thursday evening over 10 weeks where our featured chefs will cook up the finest our region has to offer in aid of a very worthy cause.

Bernard Hughes of The Connaught Telegraph and the current Castlebar Chamber of Commerce president will get things under way at 7 p.m. on September 24.

Over the following weeks Tommy Marren will be in the kitchen on October 1, Ray Moylette October 8, George Moran October 15, Tia Crowley October 22, Mick Byrne October 29, Walter Donoghue November 5, Cora Mulroy November 12, Brenda Clarke November 19, and a surprise celebrity local chef on November 26.
