Details announced for Connaught minor football championship

THE draw for the Connaught minor (Under 17) football championship has been announced.

Mayo are set to face Sligo in the semi-finals while Roscommon will meet the winners of Galway and Leitrim on Friday, October 30.

Should Mayo beat Sligo, they will meet the other winning semi-finalist in the final on Friday, November 6.

All games in the Connaught minor championship will be played at the Centre of Excellence, Bekan.

This years competition is straight knock out, and a winner must be decided on the day.
