Burst watermain affecting 300 Ballina properties

IRISH Water and Mayo County Council are carrying out repairs to a burst watermain on Emmet Street, Ballina, to restore water supply to approximately 300 properties.

The affected properties are in Emmet Street, Bridge Street, Pearse Street, Bachelor’s Walk, Arbuckle Row, Castlecourt, Beleek Lodge, Dillon Terrace, Nally Street, Humbert Street, Belleek and the surrounding areas.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 4 p.m. today and it may take two to three hours after this to restore normal supply to all customers affected by the burst.
