Mayo company offers free sanitiser to schools affected by product recall
MAYO-BASED company Airmedica has offered free hand sanitiser to all schools affected by the product recall announced last night.
Airmedica is the largest manufacturer of hand sanitiser in the country.
Explained CEO Aiden Corcoran: “As a father with kids in school myself, I am acutely aware of the need to have the right products in place to keep teachers and students safe.
“Once I heard of the product recall, I immediately knew we were in a position to help. As we manufacture our sanitiser in Cork and Mayo, we are ready to deliver nationwide to schools in need.”
Schools can contact Airmedica directly on (094) 9371570 or email by email at info@airmedica.ie.
Airmedica’s hand sanitiser contains 70% alcohol (ethanol), effective to kill 99.999% bacteria. It has undergone numerous tests with an independent testing house (EN 1276 – antibacterial suspension; EN 1650 – antifungal suspension; EN 1500 – antibacterial in vivo). It is consistently tested to guarantee minimum of 70% alcohol (ethanol) in the product and to ensure that ethanol is the only active substance used.

Airmedica is manufactured by parent company Cosmetic Creations.
