Overcrowding issues under control today at MUH

The number of patients awaiting beds at Mayo University Hospital (MUH) is down to nine today.

It's a big improvement on the overcrowding situation at the facility following a very busy week.

Nationally, 187 admitted patients are waiting for beds, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

Up to 155 patients are waiting in the emergency department while 32 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
