THE following are today’s Mayo death and funeral notices.

CRISSIE COMMONS, MOYGOWNAGH

Crissie Commons (née Holmes) Ardvarney, Moygownagh, Ballina, and formerly of Glenmore and Galway.

Predeceased by her husband Eamon, sisters May, Lily and Ellie, and brothers Joe (twin), James, Bertie and Tom. Sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sister Ann, sister-in-law Rita, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass took place today in St. Cormac's Church, Moygownagh. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. Crissie's life will be honoured and celebrated at a later date.

MARY DONOHUE, SHRULE

Mary Donohue (nee Garvey), Glencorrib, Shrule.

Predeceased by her husband Jack and son Tommie. Deeply mourned by her daughters Bernie and Breege, son Michael, sons-in-law Paddy and Johnny, daughter-in-law Geraldine, 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Teresa, brother-in-law Tom, nieces and nephews (Birmingham), relatives, neighbours and friends.

Marys funeral cortège will leave her home on Thursday, December 31, to arrive for 12 p.m. Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glencorrib. Burial afterwards in Moyne Cemetery.

NORA HERATY, WESTPORT

Nora Heraty (née Grimes), Carrarevaugh, Liscarney, Westport.

Predeceased by her husband James, son Richard, grandson Martin, brothers Patrick, John, Richard, Peter, sisters Mary B and Katie. Sadly missed by her loving family Michael (Donegal), Mary Heraty Wrafter (Westport), Kay Ryan (Klimeena), daughter in law Bernie (Carrarevaugh), Mags Duffy (Kilmeena P.O), Phil Keane (Clogher), Seamus (Donegal), Gerard (London), Noreen Heraty Morley (Limerick), Gena (Haiti), Declan (Lanmore), brothers James (Charlestown),sister Margaret Rahily (Birmingham), daughters in law, sons in law grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Funeral arriving to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Cushlough this Thursday for Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

JACK MCDONNELL, BOHOLA

Jack McDonnell, Toughnane, Bohola, Claremorris.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa, daughter Sharon, son in law Donal, grandsons Stephen and Sean, nieces and nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, friends & neighbours.

John (J.T.) Moran, Castlepark, Ballybane, Galway and formerly of Milltown, Glenamoy.

Beloved husband of Mary and dearly loved father of Veronica, John, Christopher, and Fiona. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, by his grandchildren, and by Carl, Tom and Ned, his brothers Mickey, Kevin, P.J., and Tommy, his sisters Mary and Bridie, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Cortege will leave from John’s home at 10.45 a.m. on this Friday, January 1, to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Ballybane, for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery.

JOHN O'DONNELL, CROSSMOLINA

John O'Donnell, Ashgrove, Mountmellick, Co. Laois and Crossmolina.

Predeceased by his daughter Mary Judith. Deeply regretted by his wife Maureen, daughters Susan (Smithers), Sarah (Harte) and Lucy (Kelly), sister Bernie, sons-in-law Tom, O'Neill and David, his ten much loved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and all the staff and residents in St Vincent's Hospital, Mountmellick.

Requiem Mass will be held at one o'clock on Friday, January 1, and will be streamed live on mountmellickparish.ie. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
