Search resumes in Mayo for man missing since November

The search has resumed this morning for a man missing in north Mayo since November.

An Garda Síochána requested members of Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Search & Recovery Unit to undertake the coastal sea search.

The team, which started from Killala Pier, is covering an area including Lacken Bay, Kilcummin Head and Downpatrick Head.

In a statement, the unit said the continued unsettled weather has limited their ability to conduct operations and today provided a window opportunity to search from Killala to Ballycastle and back to Killala.
