Athlone Town AFC Ladies sign Mayo native Abbiegayle Ronayne

Former Ballinrobe Town player and Irishtown native Abbiegayle Ronayne has signed for Athlone Town AFC Ladies.

Abbiegayle brings loads of Women's National League experience to the midlands club, having previously played for Sligo Rovers Under 17s in 2018 and Galway WFC in 2019, where she was a key player in a successful Under 17 team that won the league and cup double.

In September of 2019 Abbiegayle made her debut for the Galway WFC senior team, which saw her called into the Ireland Under 19s set-up.
