Calling all Men! Get active with Mayo’s Men on the Move initiative

Guys, are you looking to improve your mood, physical and mental health in these challenging times?

Need some support, then Mayo Sports Partnership's Men on the Move programme is what you are looking for.

Building on the success of its last programme, the partnership is very excited to launch its second virtual Men on the Move programme.

With the current Covid-19 guidelines, we may not be able to continue to meet physically as a group, but that shouldn’t stop us getting up and getting out there.

Men on the Move may be a little different for the moment but the results and importance of this programme is greater than ever, as our last successful group can vouch for.

“I found the weekly calls great, I would walk out one mile and back most days and after a few weeks I started to walk two miles out and back and had more energy,” stated Willie Kelly, Westport

“It is approximately one mile from my home to the church and after going out daily for short walks, in three weeks I completed my walk quicker and had more energy,” reported Justin from Ballyhaunis.

It is important to keep that hour aside for yourself.

To get up and out, to get some fresh air and to #beactive.

Virtual Men on the Move will commence this week
