Contractors back on site of Mayo's N5 and N26 road projects

The contractors are back on site on site of the N5 Westport to Turlough and N26 Cloongullane road projects in Mayo.

Mayo County Council has received notification from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) that "all TII-funded construction projects are considered critical transport infrastructure."

The news has been welcomed by Councillor Cyril Burke.

He said he looked forward to the economy fully reopening in the near future.
