Company plans to boost phone and broadband services in east Mayo

CIGNAL Infrastructure Limited is seeking planning permission for a new mast at Culmore in Swinford.

The company want construct a 30-metre multi-user lattice tower telecommunications structure, carrying antenna and dishes.

It will bring improvement to voice and broadband services in the area, particularly Culmore, Carton, Cloonaghboy, Mullenmadogue, Killeen, Stripe, Killaturley, all local townlands and amenities in a large section of the N5 between Swinford and Charlestown.
