Essential maintenance will cause water disruptions in Ballina

IRISH Water, with Mayo County Council, is carrying out essential works to secure the water supply for customers in Ballina this Sunday (February 14).

While works are ongoing customers on Tone Street and Garden Street will be without water between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Customers in Abbey Street, Bonniconlon Road, including Bunree and Greenhills Estates, and Church Street will experience low pressure at this time.

It may take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.

Irish Water and Mayo County Council have thanked customers for their patience while they carry out this essential maintenance.

The customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1850 278 278 and customers can also contact Irish Water on Twitter @IWCare with any queries. For updates, see the water supply and services section of their website.
